2019 conference was our largest DTP conference to date.

This year's NLD BBSC DTP Conference took place at Durham University on the 15th and 16th July. 

This year's conference was the largest DTP conference to date with over 90 students in attendance from across all 4 years of the DTP. Students presented posters, gave oral presentations, heard plenary talks around post-PhD career choices, innovation and commercialisation, and had plenty of networking opportunities – all in the beautiful surroundings of Durham Castle.

The prize for the best poster was won by David Shapira and the best oral presentation prize was won by Jonathan Temple. 

The DTP Management Committee wanted to extend their thanks and appreciation to the DTP Conference Committee of Melissa Jackson, Eve Hunter-Featherstone, Steven Bell, Daniel Bruce and Becky Bennett whose efforts and hard work played a crucial role in ensuring the event was the success that it was.
