We are excited to announce that registration for the 2025 NLD DTP Student Summer Conference (17th and 18th of July) is NOW OPEN for NLD and affiliated students! 

Register and join us in Durham via the Google link circulated to you by email. 

After dinner (17th of July) , we will have an evening social around Durham City. There could be events in pubs such as pub quizzes or karaoke. For people that prefer to stay back at Hatfield College we will have board games available.

 Keep an eye out for updates about the conference in the coming weeks! 

This is also your chance to register an interest in presenting, for which there are 3 options:

• 10 minute traditional talk, with follow-up questions.
• 5 minute ‘explainer’ style talks, targeting a more generalist audience, with follow-up questions.
• Traditional conference posters.

The speakers (academia, industry and more) will be invited to watch your presentations so that they can be as excited about your science as you are, hopefully that will spur conversation in our social spaces.

The conference is a fantastic opportunity to present directly to fellow PhD students and sponsors in an extremely supportive setting. We will contact those who register to present separately for further arrangements.
